Did you try to change difficulty to "Easy" in the game options?

I don't think there are any cheats as of yet.

I understand why people need cheats with this game, it's pretty hard even on easy, especially some monsters.

I am having a hard time now killing the river monster. I will leave it for tomorrow, but still they could have made these fights lot easier on the lowest difficulty.

I play RPGs always on easy or normal. Not much in to button mashing, when I want this I play FPS where my reaction is important. In Witcher I am for the story and to be a bad ass monster killer, but dying 10 times in a row is not bad ass... :(

got to Cheat Happens; they have all the cheats you need, however, you have to pay them. I paid them $35.00 for a lifetime membership. It's well worth it!

I'd like to pirate those cheats, just for the heck of it, lol!

I'm not so sure it's legal to make money based of another company's intellectual property, is it?
