Maybe it's just me... but I'm very curious about this point. Will there be any problems loading saves from 2.1, 2.0, etc in the Enhanced Edition? I say this because the new content (aswell new side quests) and is almost a new game (10 GB of download, you have changed every single little thing).
So... Will we be able to load saves of our current version in EE or not?
Will we have to start a new game?

Given how extensive the EE changes are, my guess is a new game is probably going to be necessary. I don't know if this has been addressed officially, but given that EE is all but as large as the game itself, I'm pretty confident that old saves will probably be buggy when used with EE.

Yeah, I suppose that too. Anyways, I'm waiting some sort of "official" confirmation about it... Or just I will try it the 17th :P

I tested to load a game saved from 2.1 in EE and works fine. I must say that the save is from Act 1 (Act 3 contains new quests, so maybe is trickier to load a save from that Act).
But it seems that there are not any problem with quests at all, feel free to try loading your previous saves.

Tested Act 3 with 2.1 save, works fine. But if you want to do the new quest, you need to load before you go into Loc Muinne, if you load a save passed that part, you'll miss the cut scene, hence can't do the new quest.

Thanks. This is good to know. I just heard that my saves might not transfer and was feeling disappointed.

There is a problem in the "Besieged at Vergen" quest where you will not be able to move forward after loading an old save in EE. There is a mechanism you need to activate, but the "use" option will not highlight and you cannot move forward. To get around this, you will need to run on an older version of the game until you pass this point.

If you have already installed EE, you will hit the glitch and will need to revert to an earlier version (2.1) of the game, complete this quest, then reinstall EE.
