Hello, I've installed the game and selected the recommended video settings when prompted. Now at the launcher with options such as Launch game, Video and language downloadable content, etc. When I select Launch game a wolf icon appears at the center of my screen and stays there for a few seconds. It then disappears and the launch reappears. A small witcher icon also temporarily appears on the bottom right task bar.

It doesn't mean the launcher is launching the launcher. It means the game is crashing when starting. Check the troubleshooting threads; I believe it's covered. There is one stickied at the top.

Thanks for the tip, got it to run in windowed mode on 16:9

Once installed, don't use Disk 1 or it will try to install the game again. Use Disk 2.
