I just can't get it to import. The filename is "000057 - Zakon Płonącej Róży-057.TheWitcherSave". I renamed it to "000057 - Order of the Flaming Rose-057.TheWitcherSave", nothing happened. Putting it where Witcher 2 saves are (in "~/Library/Application Support/com.vpltd.witcher2/GameDocuments/Witcher 2/gamesaves") crashes the game after the intro movies. There is also "com.vpltd.TheWitcher2" folder for some reason, putting it there does nothing.

The save file must remain in the Witcher 1 savegame folder, do not move it to The Witcher 2's.

Also, according to Witcher Wiki, there must be aome issues with non-English saves and it is recommended to make a new save changing to English settings:
Note for Non-English versions
In case the game is unable to detect your saves from The Witcher despite them being located in the appropriate folder, create a new save file in the Ice Plains or the Order of the Flaming Rose Cloister areas using English language settings.
I created an English save (in-game instead of renaming the file this time) and it still doesn't detect it.
According to dtruss (fixed version from the Internet, cannot post links) it looks for "~/Library/Application Support/com.vpltd.witcher2/GameDocuments/The Witcher/saves", however when I put a save there (either Polish or English) the game also crashes after intro movies.
