I decided to get the patches, although I was not having any particular issues with the game. I had downloaded and saved all the DLC's thanks to other members who posted the links . Anyway, I kept getting the attached message as I think others have. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game with the same results. I finally rebooted into Vista and it installed fine with all the patches. I didn't really want to lay it on the Bloat OS, so rebooted back into Windows 7 and uninstalled it again, keeping the save files. I realized that I downloaded a lot of additional files, so did a search with Windows Explorer and cleaned out all the extra Files ( except the Save Files ) I then started the install and this time it went through the process including all the Patches and DLC's. Point is, before reinstalling, make sure there are aboslutely no files other than the save files left before doing so and it should work fine.
