I think we can complain all we want about it, that won't change a thing. We have to understand that it is not possible to expose guys to the sight of a naked man (even if he is supposed to be them) the way girls are exposed to naked women all the time. They can't stomach it and I think we have to live with that.

Plus, the gaming industry is still sort of in denial about the almost 50% of female customers... ;)

I can stomach the site of a nude man. Ladies on the other hand will faint at the site of his legendary third sword. We can't have that. :P

And also, again with the roleplaying issues - when I can easily roleplay a man as a female, why can't a male roleplay another male and enjoy what the creator has given him? *scratches head in incomprehension*

Seriously, Shorty's "manhood" poses a far bigger threat to Geralt than Geralt's does to mine.

That's an interesting point :) I talked to many (male) gamer friends and all of them said they don't feel as 'in character' when they roleplay women. Yet I've never had trouble roleplaying a guy. I am not saying everyone is like that, but it's still very interesting. Any guys who would like to elaborate on that?

I have no issues with it. Hell, when I played through Dragon Age the first time, it was as a female character and I bedded a couple of the male NPCs. Doesn't bother me, since it's a game and all. :)

Actually, given the choice, I generally play as a female character in RPGs. Part of it is definitely because if I'm looking at a character for the whole game, it might as well be pleasing to look at. Another is I have daughters, so the thought of strong women kicking ass appeals to me as well.

*edit* Oh, I guess I should point out I'm male. Just in case that's not clear. :P

It's a little bit sad to discover that all sexy and attractive female characters (except Triss) are unploughable. Wonder when mods will do something to fix this enormous mistake ;-)

Regarding naked Geralt: I wouldn't have no with this one, but considering the state of game fandoms, I am sure we won't see naked Geralt in W3 or even in W10.

Last but not least: regarding Saskia's preferences; as long as Lesbomancy is not on, everyone who is taller than 1 m. is, sadly, off :(

i meant, the sex cutscenes are kind of awkward and brief. but i guess 3d porn is always gonna look a bit weird. and they sure did it better than dragon age. this game makes dragon age look so inferior.

i hope they really milk this thing and release more expansions with lots more bombshells

also, im a male but i like playing female characters a lot better. all my WoW toons were female bloodelfs. id rather be looking at a chick most of the time as i play than a man, makes enough sense dont it
