It's actually quite simple. The only decisions that mattered were the ones with flash animation cutscenes.

AFAIK the contest is to whoever send it in FIRST and judging by that mail, it's you :D. It should be a unique shirt. I was planning to give it a shot since noone turned it in yet, but waited, since I figured the patch might screw it over.

Edk45: what does that mean?
It means that the only decisions (for example the one where you choose to kill Aryan or let him live) that trigger a flash animation (those stylized cutscenes that look like they were done in flash) are the only ones that constitute an ending.


so I pretty much organized it like this (see attachment)

Why is Aryan that important? if he lives nothing changes that much, he is just there leaning against a wall and talks about .... I don't actually remember what he said, it was not vital...

Getting a bit of offtopic, but:
I disagree, he's one of the few lords of Temeria actually attending the summit. It would've been great if they gave him some more lines though.

He prevents an alliance between Louisa and the Shilard. I actually don't know either why it's so important.

Roche path Temerians>Aedernians (saying this cuz Demavends a sucky king)
My cannon path was Iorveth Triss path. I love Temeria but Aedirn has a lot of important stuff for pre amnesia Geralt(didn't really read the books though) like Vengerberg (where Yennefer is from) and Rivia.

also Henselt doesn't die it's just dumb to kill him

This is real confusing. Doesn't Aryan La Valette die either by your hand in the sword fight or by his hand when setting fire? At least that's what the cutscene seems to imply. So does he die in the fire or not?

Also, the attachment only shows 10 endings. Plus I noticed that on the Aryan lives, Iorveth path you have stennis killed/spared. But why wouldn't the fate of Stennis appear in the Aryan dies path and Iorveth/Triss path? Same goes for killed/spared Henselt for Roche vs Roche/Triss path.

that gets me to 14 but it is still two short. So what are the actual 16 endings that you submitted?

here is the words from the cutscene that basically proves he's dead at the end of the prologue either way.

Honor prevented the proud youth from fleeing his family seat while it was in enemy hands. Aryan made a decision that meant certain death for himself, but he nevertheless made it without hesitation, sealing with his sacrifice the bloodiest chapter ever in La Valette family annals.

he escapes. he knows the castle really really well.

but the cutscene doesn't show that because they want you to think he's dead and stuff.

That cutscene just shows what Geralt believes happened, Aryan survives if you let him live in the prologue. It added to the surprise, I liked it.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'll be honest I never recognized him in chapter three. LOL

Anyway, the attachement is still wierd because it lists Stennis death/spared for one option but not for the paths where you killed Aryan. I still can't make out the 16 different endings in the attachment.
