I've registered my copy of TW2 using the launcher, by putting in my CD Key, but when I try to get the downloadable content , the option is greyed out and the launcher has a message at the bottom saying "connection error".

Any help please?

Also, why do I have to put my desktop res to 1920x1200 in order to launch the game, when I have a 2560x1600 monitor? I can play the game at the higher res, but just not launch it!!

If you got connection error, maybe you should try and check if your firewall is blocking Witcher 2 launcher.

That was the first thing I thought of. But then I realised it couldn't be that as I had successfully registered. Anyway, I tried disabling the firewall but no change.
