Hey guys, i have used the search feature but i cant find any help on this. I really love this game, the part i have been able to play that is. I cant get past the part where you meet your children in the prologue ( after you stick your sword inside the dragons mouth) , it freezes right at the cut scene where you children hugs you end, the game freezes just as it is ending, and the sounds just keep looping. Sometimes the game does not even play the cut scene, just a black screen and looping sound.
Any help will be appreciated,or if someone could load a save file that will skip that cut scene i will greatly appreciate it

Sincerely frustrated gamer :'/

Is that one of the cutscenes that can't be skipped by right-clicking and then left-clicking? Can't remember if it is or not.

What kind of hardware do you have? Have you tried changing the graphic settings to lower values and disabling things like depth of field, etcetera?
have you attempted lowering all of your graphic settings to low/disabled to get through the cut scene?
That was fast, I can skip it, well try to but i still encounter the same problem. I have tried lowering graphic settings, My system info is below

Do you have the game patched to 1.2? All your video drivers patched to the latest versions?

Anyway, haven't heard of this particular freeze before. Have you tried lowering the resolution to something ridiculously small? If none of those help at all you can upload your save I'll get you past that part, but you'll miss a bit of exposition.

It very well may be your card, though. If digby69's post about similar cards is accurate, then you're just barely scraping by the absolute minimum specs.
i am pretty sure it is not, anyway it was doing fine on medium during the siege. Regardless i will upload my save file i will appreciate it if you could get past that part for me please.
I got the info from here:-

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-recommendation-upgrade,2803-7.html
http://www.2shared.com/file/oUav6frE/AutoSave_0019.html
here it is
Autosave right after that scene: http://www.mediafire.com/?u31a513eylwl4gw

And a quicksave a little farther on, just in case you have a problem with the file above (but you'll miss quite a bit of story if you use this one): http://www.mediafire.com/?bfp2bc7c3vbp0td
Thanks alot man, i will load it up

The cutscene should run fine even if your gfx card is close to min specs, at least I have not heard about crashing at the cutscene because of that.

Have you tried tweaking your video configuration? I find cinematic DoF to be stressful on my system when it comes to cutscenes.
