No, it works just as intended. The fact this guy isn't even sure if it "fixed" it or not is a good reason why it was never broken.

<sigh> So knowledgeable you are. Read deeper than page 1 of the threads and you might know that there were a fair amount of people experiencing weirdness with depth of field.

@custardcream: If you are referring to objects close up kind of 'popping' into detail I can't say myself as I fixed (or rendered virtually unnoticeable) that by fooling with my graphics settings.
definitely was broken for quite a few people. on close examination of a different save it appears its working now.

Working beautifully for me.

On a side note, after patch 1.2 and the new nvidia drivers (275.33) released on 1st June the game is running so much better.
Have everything maxed out except ubersampling.
