ArxRocks: Combat is rather horrible though. Everyone kites and you have to kite to fight against groups of enemies. Then there's the console QT events which you find in action adventure games such as Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Sorry but the combat in this game sucks and that's not because it's hard. It's because you only need the same strategy and you can kite your way to victory.

I'm sorry, I have to disagree. My "kiting" was minimal. Especially later on when I grew to understand the system better. Quen and Yanii (I think that's it) were my best friends in the game, especially when I could link traps. Done here.
Group finishers streamlined fights even further. I had one animation clear out 3 enemies all at once without so much as a drop of hesitation.
