Has anyone been using the "set quality to high" function in the Nvidia panel?

I had left it on by accident and noticed the game seems to run better then the ultra setting, better frame rate and the graphics are clearly with almost to the level of "ubersampling" without the huge frame rate hit

Anyone else who has monkeyed around with this let me know

Thanks
What "set quality to high" function?
I tried messing around with the Nvidia Panel, 1-2 days after release (so it wasn't the 275.xx drivers yet). I wanted to force MSAA, since I don't like the blurry look of MLAA and Supersampling drops the framerate way too low. But that didn't seem to do anything.
Was the option to force AA added by 275.xx / one of TW2's patches?

Didn't try the quality preset though. Maybe what you're experiencing is overwriting of certain ingame settings + forced AF (if that works, didn't really try).
You can force MSAA by renaming the .exe file of the game. But the game is not compatible with it, and it will fail to load textures.

The ultra you're talking about disables all optimizations for a slightly better image quality.

I suggest reading this guide. It goes into great detail all of the Nvida forceware parameters:
