Hi,
Maybe some of you also have recompiled some libraries in 32bits to successfully run the game. Maybe some of you also have or resolved audio problems or INFO such as "'...could not determine version for .." ?
The point is to have a topic which can help in every possible way Funtoo/Gentoo players.
My introduction:
1) Install gnome-extra/zenity -> need for the patch
2) Install the older emul-linux-x86-* multilib solution
or Enable ABI_X86="32 64" into the make.conf. New gx86-multilib solution
I'm using the older emul-linux-x86 solution, and have some ebuild problems with the gx86 solution ( for eg. Jack-audio-connection-kit ). So,
3) Download the SDL2 sources and SDL2 projects sources and compile them a la mano
4) Copy library into game folder
My problem:
Starting the game there is no sound.
The logs: AL lib: (EE) ALCplaybackAlsa_reset: snd_pcm_hw_params(self->pcmHandle, hp) failed: Device or resource busy.
I'm not using pulseaudio with my OS, only alsa for games. I don't understand why program see my devices/resource busy because there aren't.
If you have any ideas, proposition, hack, anything to fix my sound problem I'm here :)
And plz add your experience with Funtoo/Gentoo for TW2.
Thx
Edit: Also the game crash during quit and open a report window with logs. Where the logs are sent and who is working on the fixes ?
