I hope someone at GoG is will read this and pass it on to CDproject. Please put a "N" on the mini-map to mark North. As it is the mini-map is almost useless and this one little addition would change that. in Act I when I am outside of town I find myself asking: "I am east of town? northeast of town? close to town?. I guess I will have to pause the game and scroll down to map just to find out". I do not know much about scripting but it seems adding a "N" to the map would be a simple change and alleviate this by giving me my bearings at any given time. Alternatively it would be easier if the map was locked with North always facing towards the top of the screen.

Anyone reading this please add a comment increasing the chance that the message will get to CDProject. Thanks again

it's a huge oversight on CDP behalf, but good news - there is a mod that does exactly that.
look in the sticky of available mods and u will find it in the interface section.
just paste the files in the cookedpc and you're good.
