Hello!
I've recently bought this game and I am having some annoying issues with it, regarding performance.
The first time I ran the game I had installed a beta Intel driver (from the official site) and the Nvidia drivers as well, latest versions, and the game ran perfectly on high to ultra specs. But unfortunately the beta driver failed and the whole windows system crashed, I wasn't able to see anything on my screen but the cursor and to hear the fans spinning...I couldn't enetr the safe mode as well, so I had to reinstall Windows again.
Now after reinstalling it, I put the drivers from the producer's website (Lenovo) because for the intel graphics I couldn't find a stable driver on their website. I;ve tried absolutely everything, reinstalled drivers both for Intel and Nvidia, updated them, etc.
The game has some issues with the texture memory I guess...it has some serious lag, going from 60 fps to 20 or even less in the most crowded areas...it stutters and it's unplayable. Tried several settings combination, and apparently if I set texture downscaling to low but keeping everything else on ultra (except ubersampling) the game works fine. I've tried on high, medium and low and with texture downscaling off and it had lag.
I am very frustratred because I know my system can handle the game pretty well, but there is this stupid incompatibility that prevents it from running smoothly...I would really appreciate if somebody could help me!
And my gaming platform is a Lenovo legion y520, with i5 7300HQ processor, Nvidia 1050Ti 4GB, 8 GB RAM, 250 Samsung Evo ssd and a 1 TB HDD. The game is installed into the SSD.
Windows 10 PRO
Thanks and I'm happy to be part of this forum!
