My game returns to desktop after all the intros are played instead of showing the main menu. If I move The Witcher save folder elsewhere, the game runs fine.
Maybe it's because my saves are prior to the Enhanced Edition or something? They date back to 2008 when I first finished the game. I never kept my EE saves, I happened to have these really old saves on a DVD and I decided to give them a go. Might be incompatible maybe.

Thanks murgolicious, those saves will suffice.
The files must be screwed, not even The Witcher: EE is able to load 'em, the game shows them on the load menu, but crashes if I try to load.
