Ok so I'm using the full combat rebalance mod and I can't find the diagrams for hardened leather and robust cloth anywhere. I know you no longer buy potions/oils diagrams with this mod (you unlock them through the skills) but in the mod's description it didn't say anything about any other diagrams.

I looked all over the skill trees, checking if those are also unlocked using skill points but didn't see anything.

Is this a bug? How do I get the diagrams?

Don't recall if either of these come available, but I never had a shortage of purchasable materials - I do seem to recall hardened leather as a thing I could make, but I may just have converted 'cloth' into hardened cloth by selling/buying at a merchant.

In the latter stages I was able to build all new armours that were available with only a trip to my stocks stored in the local inn.

If you only have a small portion of the materials needed, you may need to wait for a day cycle or two and pick up new materials as they come available.

Some diagrams do become available as you go ~ worth checking the leather worker in the village at Flotsam amongst others (though I don't promise it is there...)

You can't. FCR 2 removed for-sale crafting diagrams (except dark mode stuff). A few may be found, but most craftable items can no longer be crafted and have to be bought.

Eact act has a vendor in crafting items. I know it's (strangely) The Mighty Numa's assistant in Act III; I'm not sure about the others.

This is the change in FCR 2 that I most dislike.

ISTR that one of the rewards for the asylum may have been robust cloth on one playthrough. I cannot be certain, but there are two locations were 'good' loots drop during this quest. They are *not* always the same, though so there is no certainty of getting this reward.

I still think that I have crafted hardened leather, and have only played FCR... that is my best current guess where I found the diagram.
