It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

It also no longer exits your character/skill tree screen (c).

It does work for pausing though so you can load/save/exit.

I seen someone had this problem on another forum, and I have it as well.

Using a logitech g15 keyboard if it makes a difference. Computer is well up to spec, I'm using the latest (non-beta) release of the AMD videocard drivers.
Does it work if you reset the input settings in the launcher options to default?

You can also try running the game as Admin.

I've reset the input settings and it does the same thing. Can't exit inventory or skill tree with the escape key.

I've ran it as admin in both the launcher way and direct exe in the gog/witcher2/bin folder, no good.
Try going through the ini files and finding the Esc or Exit binding.

Or you can try uninstalling it completely and then reinstalling it.
It says this already in user.ini

IK_Escape=(Gamekey=GI_Exit,Value=1.000000)

This in DIMapping

DIK_ESCAPE=IK_Escape

This in Input_QWERTY

IK_Escape=(GameKey="GI_Exit",Value=1)
Disregard what I just said on THIS post if you read it. I edited it and it was a noob question.

That seems correct.

There are ini files in "\The Witcher 2\bin\config" also, but I don't know if the game uses them.

Anyway, the only suggestions I have are to try a clean boot and run the game, and if that fails, uninstall and reinstall it.

Not really worth it then. I have a really slow net, and don't wanna DL all over again. Just a minor inconvenience I guess.

I should have mentioned, this just started with patch 2.0. i used gog's witcher 2 updater to apply it. This wasn't happening when I first beat the game. And I don't think it was doing it in patch 1.3 I believe it was, the one before 2.0.
