I've been playing a bit of dice poker, and I'm in act 3 now. it seems that my opponents are ridiculously lucky. Just played 8 games against the same opponent and she got a full house no fewer than 5 times. statistically this is really improbable, has anybody else noticed something similar? I've had it with other opponents as well.

Also, why can my opponents reroll dice they threw off the table when i can't?

The way the board tends to obscure the dice makes it easier for "luck" to interfere when the dice are cast.
Opponents seem to be getting full house at a much better rate than the sharpers and the legend in TW1.

I had a run against some opponents in chapter 1 that were similar, but I also had an improbable string of luck on my side as well (i.e. rolling 4 sixes to win, then rolling two full houses in a row - without having to re-roll any dice, etc.) So I don't think it's a real issue that the dice are stacked against the player. Just seems that way sometimes.
I finally beat her after 15 games now, she never once had lower than a three-of-a-kind, in the end I won because I rolled a higher full house. It really seems off...
Just finished my first playthrough and I only lost 3 times throughout the entire game. I only played the games required by the quest though.

IMHO playing dice in TW1 was a fun diversion and, later in the game, a way to earn some extra cash. Sadly, in TW2, it has been reduced to something you just do to get quest items.

Guess I'm just ridiculously unlucky then, there hasn't been an opponent that beat me at least once, and most beat me several times before I finally win, and not because I throw dice off the table either...
i think some people don't realize you have to keep the dice on the board....or that you don't want to chuck it all over the place, but instead lightly tumble it for better chances.

Doesn't help to lightly tumble it when you can't see the dices you are holding.
The dice are all clumped together and fused into one blob so it's impossible to see the faces before you cast them.
