If you're tired of your core crafting materials taking up too much inventory space, here's a super simple mod that sets the weight of all Leathers, Cloths, Ores, Elemental Stone, Timber, and Oil to 0.1 weight. So if you're obsessive about picking everything up, and are missing the lack of storage, this should help out a lot.

Just extract https://rapidshare.com/files/4035901914/craftweight.zip into the "CookedPC" directory of your TW2 install. The default location for the GOG install is "C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\The Witcher 2\CookedPC."

If the raipdshare download isn't working, try this link instead: http://www.mediafire.com/?r0aojjmbjmevj6y

It looks like TW2 will be easy to mod, at least for basic things such as item weight, stats, loot tables, etc.

Huge thanks to Rick on Xentax for coding the dzip extraction tool, there's no way I would've figured out how to do that myself.

Thank you very much.
Nice and useful tool. That one with unlimited inventory is really over the top, some limitations should always exist.

Not gonna use it now, but most probably will in my 2nd or 3rd playtrough.
Thanks!

Can you give a link to the extraction tool or its topic?

Yes its good to have limitation but not when it comes to inventory. Limited inventory only creates a hassle.

Awesome. Here's one stupid design change that was corrected by a mod I can strike off my list.

Five more to go.
