When I first purchased this game, it took about 2 dozen downloads of all the files before the damn thing would install (I pre-ordered and downloaded at launch)
After that initial painful start everything went sweet. Until patch 2.0..... upon starting up the game client the autopatcher started updating to 2.0, and crapped out halfway through. The game would then no longer launch, couldn't roll back, couldn't apply the patch (either manually or through the autopatcher)...
Ok, so I remove the program, and run the installer again, with the intention of manually patching up to 2.0 from a fresh install... file verification craps out telling me that cab files are corrupted.... FUUUUUU!!!!!
Re-download the entire damn thing.... so far I'm up to my fourth attempt... What the F*** is wrong with the downloads? I keep getting file corruption errors... and I have a 60Gb per month download limit!!!
I have a ton of games purchased from steam that have all installed without issues... what is different about GoG's file hosting?
ISP is Telstra Business, ADSL2 (although at reduced capacity due to distance from the exchange, semi-regional), but this has usually only effected speed of downloads, not data transmission integrity. Any ideas?
