played the witcher 1 in 2013 like a maniac and fell in love with it besides some bugs and bad design choices it is really great. i hope TW2 improves the series worthy and makes some points better i didnt like in TW1!

but somehow i dont like the controls so far, there are again herbs in the first section and some crates but you dont see them good and when you approach it feels clunky + the inventory system is so strange and not straight forward? :(

are there mods to improve it? i really dont like the feel atm but guess i need to get used to it?

Yes it was, especially the inventory interface. There are some autoloot mods around. But since gameplay is largely irrelevant in these games, you can get by with not looting anything at all.
