So, I'm completely stuck in chapter 2. Namely, with the two artifact quests (Hatred Symbolized and Death Symbolized)
I've gathered that I can't do Death Symbolized right now, so I naturally went and tried to do Hated Symbolized.
However, I can't for the life of me figure out how I'm supposed to get to the market. I went to the gates in Vergon beside Cecil's house, but they arn't/won't open. At the passage into the mist, just as you go into the fog there's another passage that cuts off right (and from the map looks like it would take you to the marker) but I can't get down there without it taking me to the battlefield thing. Tried looking for a walkthrough, but most of the ones out there only cover CH1 so far.
Any help, please? D:

through gates, right up stairs, follow along, right through cavern, up stairs, past house and through doors. across the lake and through forest.

had to quickly check through a save game :D

You can do both right now. First one, go to the gates of the dwarf city, go straight to your left and climb the stairs, follow the only path until you are out of the city, from there keep going straight through some woods til you reach the dwarven catacombs. (You'll fight bandits, harpies and Nekkers till you get there). Once you are there just go through the catacombs and I'll let you find the banner for yourself so I don't spoil the fun :)

If you want to go get the other artifact you have to go back to the entrance of the dwarven city, go out through the giant gates til you find the elf patrol and from there take the first path to the left, it'll lead you to a sort of mine network. Go through the maze (pack a cat potion) and you'll find another of the artifacts.
