December 2020 and still waiting

It's April 2021, and there are still no achievements for The Witcher 2.

I can't stop laughing at the absurdity of this situation. They have made achievements for Steam a long time ago, but can't do the same for THEIR OWN launcher.

I can understand (but don't support it) when some third-party developers don't want to update their games on GOG or add achievements for GOG Galaxy, but the situation with The Witcher 2 is beyond my understanding.

This is one of those situations that perfectly illustrates how much "respect" GOG shows to its customers. They just don't want to do anything about it. They just don't care.

More than 5 years have passed. How long will such incredibly hard work last? This is just ridiculous.

Yeah not sure why there arnt achievements for Witcher 2, especially when there are achievements for Witcher 2 on Steam. Apparently the achievements are kind of bugged but adding back the achievements and a way to “reset” if the list bugs out would be great imo.

Complain straight to the developer CDPR! If they get ten complaints a year, something just might happen.

You would think Witcher 2 would support achievements by now considering the game has them on Steam since release. I wonder why they don't do it. I mean, this is basically their own platform...

I actually can't believe this game does not have achievements on its own platform but has them on the another platform. I just don't understand. I wanted to replay the game here on Galaxy and have fun doing the achievements this time and when I checked - nope .... I guess I'll have to do it on steam. Dear god ... and I just completed this survey from gog - I hope they notice the achievement part ... I mean if they don't add achievements to their own games here how do we even expect another company do it. This is tragedy...

I'd welcome some quality of life improvements for The Witcher 2, in addition to last year's macOS compatibility updates, which are most welcome. Finally adding functional achievements to the GOG version of the game is something I'd consider mandatory. Come on CDPR, this is YOUR platform.

I do not understand one thing: in the Steam store The Witcher 2: AoK comes with achievements available to obtain, at the same time in GOG store the same game comes without achievements, why so? What is more ridiculous is that CDProjectRED is the parent company to GOG Co. if so, why it is no achievements in GOG version of The Witcher 2: AoK??? Is adding achievements is so hard process with GOG software?

I've noticed GOG/CDPR staff are testing Witcher 2 achievements recently, we may finally be getting them soon after all this time.
