When I start the Witcher 2 launcher, I don't see anything about a patch. The lightning bolt icon shows that it's online, but It just sits there; all I can do is start the game or close it.

I tried downloading the patch manually and installing it, but it failed after reaching the end.

What gives? Anyone else running into this?

Did you try dl'ing the auto patcher from your game shelf? Also, it may just sit there at the end for a while (many minutes in my case) before finishing.

Do you have any mods installed?
Did you remove them before try the upgrade?

The manual upgrade has worked for me.
