I have noticed that the ground textures are blurrier after the 1.1 patch. Yes, i have set my graphics back to where they were originally as i'm aware they reset. I am running the retail version of the game, and it's not any of my settings, take a look at the forest floor outside Flotsam, or the gravel outside the tents in the beginning, i'm sure it was never THAT blurry?
All my textures are blurrier. The game seems like it dropped massively in the graphics department.
Check User.ini in Documents\Witcher 2. For medium and high, MaxAtlasTextureSize and MaxTexture size should both be set to 2048, for ultra it should be 4096 and 2048 respectively.

Yeah, my texture settings did not take at first. I had to restart the game a second time for them to click back into high settings.
There's a setting in the 'options' menu that says texture downscaling, I first selected that to the highest by an accident because I didn't read the name and I wondered why the graphics sucked, but turn that off and it looks amazing again:)

Thanks, i checked the .ini file, the settings are correct for ultra. So this isn't the issue. Maybe i'm just imagining it, but it seems to only be certain ground textures, not anything else, rocks-trees-characters are all pin-sharp.
I also found that sometimes texture streaming kicks in a bit to late and thus some textures remain in their low fidelity form before getting replaced with the high res good stuff. But I had this also before the 1.1 patch. Nothing to worry about I notice it almost never.
