So, I just unlocked the Heliotrope sign and the generation of adrenaline through signs but there is no adrenaline bar at all.
Am I doing something wrong?

No. You won't see the bar until you actually start building it via using signs on enemies.

What I meant is that it wasn't appearing when I was doing that.
