I'm curious about vigor. I've got two bars worth of vigor (level 12) and I'm in the process of helping Iorvan to the barge.

My first question is, why is my vigor so low? I'm investing in the swordsman tree, but I cant seem to find any unlockables that increase vigor. I assumed it was level related, but I watched a vod, where the guy is level 9 and has 3 bars worth of vigor. Did I miss something?

My second question is... Yeah, I forgot it whilst typing the first.

.

Your starting Witcher skill tree has a +Vigor skill. As does the Magic tree.

Ah, I remembered immediately after posting what my second question was.

Not at noobish as the first, but I am quite the noob.

How does persuasion/intimidation work? Haven't seen anything that suggests that simply doing it often is the way to increase it's effectiveness.

That is all there is to it. Your conversation stats are found through the character screen.
Thanks very much, both of you. I'm in act 2, and still with a measly 2 vigor bars.
Edit, and I think I see why the boss battles have been so challenging, heh (on normal)
