Hi Everyone,

I just bought the game 3 days ago and right after my purchase I started download it ..

When it came to launch the game the first problem is "Not mim sys req are meet" so I check for solutions on the support web side and I was able to by passed it. But when I am launching the game there is not intro video displaying only the spoken introduction of "Geralt". On the top of that when I am loading the first part of the game the screen freezes and it show me a small window that it saids " Program error: THIS CAN BE CAUSED BY A PROBLEM IN THE PROGRAM OR DEFICIENCY IN WINE" and the game crashes.

Please I will really appreciated any kind of help for this problem and if the intro video does not display in other Mac systems. Thanks.

Pst. These are my system specification:
Processor 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 8 GB Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750M
Software OS X 10.9.1
I also try to re install the game 2 times and
Re install the GOG Downloaded but still the same problem.

Regards,

Omegared

Hi zurvan7,

Thanks for sharing those forums they were very helpful. But I have to say the steam forum were the most closer to get running the game on My Imac. However, I still having some difficulties in playing the game. Perhaps Is the resolution of the 27" iMac that affects the display of the game. I try to reduce it to the lowest and still showing me white lines on the screen. This problem only stop when I force quit the game and in a small screen the game runs smothly but when I click that small screen it come back to the same problem.

Yeah no problem :) I can't help you much more cause I don't use mac :s. Yo could try to contact the support team and tell them your situation and what you have done. Or google some more around or try the search results in this forum (type in witcher wine DEFICIENCY) . Gog has a 30 days pay back policy so if nothing works out send a support ticket :)
