I purchased a copy from GOG, and I'm having doubts about this version. First the sex cards are censored. 2nd many of the NPCs look the same. One of the fixes for the game as I understand was to add more variety of NPC appearances.

No, the GOG version is definitely the full Director's Cut.

The variety is in the appearance of monsters; for example, you will find different colors of Drowners. There are a lot of identical-twin NPCs.

The first sex card is covered in all versions. The sex cards in Act 1 are more revealing.

I can confirm cjgreen's statements. This version is definitely the Director's Cut. I also was worried when I found the first card because it looked like it was censored but that one is the same in both censored and uncensored versions... the later cards are definitely uncensored.

Its not a censored card, is just like that. And one of the best.

Chapter 1 has not a lot of NPC walking around. Dont worry

If you're concerned, or just curious, the Witcher Wiki has full versions of all the cards, both censored and uncensored. Not all cards have two versions, only the ones that were too risque for Americans.
