I've installed the enhanced edition via gog galaxy, played partway into chapter 1. Decided to restart, played through the prologue, see the cutscene as I travel to Vezima, and then I see the loading screen for 'outskirts of Vizima', the red bar fills, and the game freezes on the load screen. Tried 4 times now, there's an autosave right before the cutscene. Then reloaded an earlier save. I've used the verify/repair link on gog galaxy, which didn't download anything. Each time I've tried, game has frozen.

Any ideas?

Hmm. Repaired, rebooted, changed the camera from OTS to high isometric, and now it loads. Goes down as just a weird glitch then.

By the way what do you mean by repaired rebooted?

Turning off Auto save used to fix it.
