I have Galaxy installed and cannot launch Witcher Directors Cut. I don't get any errors, I just click play and it blinks and never opens. I have gone directly to the installed folder and tried launching it from there and never see a window or error pop up either.

Any ideas?

Is there a log file any where that will at least give me some idea of what's going on?

Thanks!

Same problem here. Trying to start from Galaxy - nothing. Trying to start from start menu, both in regular and safe mode - nothing. Downloading manually right now and trying to install that way to see if that helps.

Win 7 Ultimate 64
GeForce GTX 970
Intel Core i5 4690K
16 GB RAM

EDIT: Downloading the files manually and installing that way gave me no problems starting the game.

I actually had it on Steam and ran that version and it installed DirectX and Visual C++ 2005 and launched just fine. I then closed it and tried via Galaxy and it worked now. I'm guessing one of those two fixed the issue.
Then i guess something in that version AND something in the manual download/install-version installs something that is NOT in the Galaxy version.
