Hello everybody,
I am currently replaying through TW1 on my laptop. Performance here has never been perfect, but until now I always managed to play decently. Now, since I started the final chapter, things have got unexplicably worse. Everything stutters a lot, and this applies to older saves as well. Fraps registers 20-25 FPS, but I can tell you for sure it doesn't look like that at all. I get the feeling that the lower half of the screen is getting updated at a slower pace than the higher one (hard to explain, let me know if you want me to record a video), so I thought it might be vsync, but forcing it through the Nvidia Control Panel is useless.
I thought it might be that my hardware got damaged or something, but equally demanding games run smoothly. I did run a cache check and nothing changed.
Any ideas?
EDIT: PLAYING IN WINDOWED MODE APPARENTLY FIXED EVERYTHING. I STILL HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT THE CAUSE, THOUGH.
