Hi,

I just bought the Witcher EE Platinum Edition in retail. I was hoping I am able to unlock it as I did with my Witcher 2 Copy. I already tried several times entering the key but it won't accept it. Maybe I am entering it wrong but than I don't know whats wrong there. Is it maybe not allowed to unlock the platinum edition?
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition so it seems you have another edition and that will be why you cant unlock it

Is there anything I can do or just live with it, that I can't unlock it in GOG?

I am pretty sure that its not going to change you have bough apples and needed oranges. Sorry but that is the hard fact.
If I remember correctly the Platinum Edition contains all the patches as well as the director`s cut patch . About the only advice I can offer is making sure your key begins with RED and also substituting letters for numbers and vice versa . Examples would be 0 (zero) for O (letter) , l (letter) for 1 (number) , B for 8 .

If all else fails you might try this link as a last resort .

Thank you tommy,
the Key does actually stard with RED but was not valid.

Anyway... I already sent a request 2 days ago on the page you gave me. A valid key arrived yesterday from the developers. So thanks to them for great support.

I have another question but don't know if I should open a new thread for that. Is witcher multilanguage or do I have to make sure to download the installer in the language in which I want to play the game?

Edit: Nevermind ... my question was answered right next to the download links. Sorry.

Can be marked as Solved.

Thank you.

Wow that was fantastic support you got there from GOG I would have imagined that having bought the wrong edition you would be stuck. Nice for you and warms my heart for GOG
