Hi

For some reason i have random freezes(not that often) in the game especially in chapter 3 in the spider cave, where you have to kill the queen.I switched to window mode and for some reason i could finish the quest and now im in chapter 4.Is there a fix for this besides switching to window mode?Lg

I also started getting more or less frequent crashes in Chapter 3. A somewhat unorthodox but very simple solution that did the job for me was deleting old save files (the autosaves don't overwrite each other so, if you haven't been deleting them, your save folder might be quite heavy now). I still experienced one or two crashes after that, but the game run mostly fine.

Other than switching to Windows Mode, which you are already aware it's a solution for some people, you could try some of the suggestions in this thread by the user with the Shani avatar: https://www.gog.com/forum/the_witcher/crash_on_third_chapter
