I just downloaded The Witcher Enhanced Edition through GoG, and upon starting the game up through the launcher I received the "Minimum System Requirements Not Met" error. There are many threads on the internet that say the way to fix this is by finding the witcher.exe, create a shortcut to it, and edit the target line by adding -dontForceMinReqs to the end.

However, my copy from gog does not HAVE a witcher.exe. It only has the launcher application. So any edit to shortcut does not work.

Does anyone have any way to get around this problem?

Thanks!

It must have witcher.exe file, it's located in "YOUR_GAMES\The Witcher Enhanced Edition Director's Cut\System\witcher.exe"

There it is! I was looking in the main folder. Always go deeper! Thanks for the help.
