So I received The Witcher 3 for Christmas and it finally gave me an excuse to play the other two which I've had sitting for so long in my GOG library. I would play through the first one a bit here and now but never got far. I noticed this time though that whenever I scroll over an item in my inventory, it does not show any information for it. I have all the options turned on in my settings and graphics to max. Occasionally I can get it to flash the information but past that I can't see anything about my items! Is there a common fix to this? I can't seem to find a solution googling it and I really want to play through as much as I can on my weekend off.

I run Windows 10, can definitely play it as I did before through Stream with no problem, and installed it through the Gog Galaxy client.
