I need a Silver Amber ring in Chapter 3 but I am unable to find one anywhere.

I found some info that said there was one a corpse near a cave in the swamp, there was a ring there but not the type I need.

Also checked all the merchants in the temple quarter but again no ring.

Checking the market district has also yielded nothing.

Is there a place or way I can get the ring to finish the quest. Am I missing a specific merchant or is it a random item.

Did the jewelry merchant in the trade quarter have it? if not, try the Wyvern Island. It's not near the cave, it's in the northern part of the swamps.

Did you try the merchant who walks on the street near the wall? The same street where the anarchistic butcher stands. He sells jewelry, but he doesn't stand in once place and doesn't look like other merchants. He strolls around that street back and forth. You need to find him first.

Him I haven't tried... haven't seen him either so looks like I have some camping to do then. Thanks for the help

No problem. Such kind of issues tempt me to talk to every NPC around just to discover what they have to say, even though it's not realistic :)
