Which I find hard to believe since I'm running on a:

- I5 3570K oc 4.4GHz processor
- 8GB corsair vengeance 1866 MHz RAM
- EVGA GTX 680 GPU

Actually I think I know what the problem is, it seems the game can't actually detect my video card and sees the I5's iGPU instead,

Using -dontforceminreqs is no good because it makes the game look like total garbage, probably because it won't let me turn the texture quality up and I've installed that high res texture pack, so it looks all messed up.

I've tried setting the primary GPU to PCIe on the BIOS (was auto before) but the problem remains, any ideas?
I'm currently having the same problem. Any help would be useful.

EDIT: I tried the -dontForceMinReqs again out of despiration and it worked, must have messed it up somehow.

Actually the -dontForceMinReqs works for me as well, the game will launch but all the textures will be messed up since with -dontForceMinReqs you can't set the textures to full quality, and that doesn't work well with the texturen mod.

I was not aware that using -dontForceMinReqs actually limits the graphics options you can choose. I thought it just allowed the game to launch, after which it would behave normally. How exactly does it prevent setting textures to full quality? Is that option not available in the game's option screens? If so, is it possible to set it through an .ini file instead?

If you haven't tried it already, getting the latest graphics drivers might help in getting the game to recognize your card.

Yeah the texture quality slider gets locked at the furthermost left position and you cannot move it, doing a quick search I found that that is due to the -dontForceMinReqs option, and the fact that I can't change texture quality is the responsible for the messed up textures due to the use of the Texturen mod :)

It's like a chain effect, I guess I can always remove the mod.

Also yeah I'm using the latest stable release for thedrivers, other than the beta one it is the newest.
You spoken with GOG support yet?

korell: You spoken with GOG support yet?
Well I did try and send a support question, I filled the form and sent it but I'm not sure if it went through as I can't find anything about it nor have I received any confirmations on my email, they usually send confirmations via email for pretty much everything.

I'll try and do it again later.

Just to let you know, the GOG support forms haven't given any confirmation since the site re-design. They know about this and will be working on it to give confirmations, but right now they just send the message and then take you back to the form or the support homepage or something, without giving a confirmation message. Your support request has most likely made it to them, but there's no harm in submitting it more than once (I did that for a unique multiplayer key and I got two responses - with the same key as you'd expect).
