Hi Everyone,

I've just purchased this game today and what's my surprise that it keeps showing me this message everytime I try to run it. I've found in a topic that allowed me to run it with -dontforceminreqs option in the shortcut, but then all grass textures turns black and the game looks really bad.

I think my computer should make this game work ok:

Pentium Dual Core E5300 2,6Ghz
4 GB RAM
Ati Radeon HD 5400
Windows 7 64 bit.

Why does this message keep appearing?

I don't think you should have that problem; the HD 5450 (the only card in the desktop 5400 series) is adequate (I've played it on a 5450 myself, but wasn't thrilled with the performance). It doesn't need the "-dontForceMinReqs" switch to start.

The first thing I would guess is that the card's driver is not installed (thus you are running on the Windows "generic VGA" driver).

Drivers are just re-installed, and they were dated a few days ago.

I've also played with the first version of the game in this PC, but now I'm getting this issue that won't let me play this game ok.

I'm getting the same problem with a Ati HD 5870 card which definitely meets the minimum spec and has up-to-date drivers installed, so there definitely appears to be problem with the game's hardware check.

Just solved.

Logmein is installed into my PC and with this installation an additional Graphics Driver is enabled. I just disabled it and the game runs really cool.

It seems that Witcher's HW Scan just discovered this Graphic Card and not the "good" one.
