I tried to install the newest Pinnacle Game Profiler, but 5.7.0 version has a very huge bug, it's not working at the moment. There is a problem with detecting controllers.

So I have installed free Logitech Profiler for Logitech Controllers, I use two of them:
Logitech Rumblepad 2 and Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710.

I have created profile for The Witcher to be able to play on gamepad.

If somebody prefer to play The Witcher on gamepad, here is a [url=http://www.vamet.la/temp/exchange/temp/THE WITCHER.rar]THE WITCHER.rar[/url]. It contains two files:
THE WITCHER.xml - you must import this file from Logitech Profiler software (download at Logitech website)
THE WITCHER.pdf - layout, what kind of hotkeys from The Witcher settings is set for each gamepad button

The only thing you must change in Hotkeys (at settings of The Witcher) are:
Previous Weapon to key: ,
Next Weapon to key: .
Previous Sign to key: /
Next Sign to key: \
Display Names to key: N (default is ALT)

Which controller or gamepad are you trying to program for the witcher ? There are a few other options available with other software .

Hi. I wound up using the Pinnacle Game Profiler. There were a couple of profiles available for The Witcher. I ended up editing one of them and it seems to be working pretty well. If any is interested in getting a copy of what I did please let me know.

OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit
PC Game: The Witcher III - Wild Hunt V. 1.02
x360ce_x64: x360 Controller Emulator V.3.0.7.57/Copyright TocaEdit 2015
This is the beggining!

When you paste the x360ce_x64.exe in the The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt/bin/x64 folder do not run after you obtain:

1-x360ce.App-2.0.2.163.zip (old version of x360ce.exe emulator)
2-x360ce_libraries_r732_x64_VS2010.zip (inside is the xinput1_3.dll V.3.4.0.732)

Installing:
You need to paste x360ce.App-2.0.2.163 (old version) in the The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt/bin/x64 folder
and this is the first one you will run (this will said Beta) and intall the 2 file that offer, the x360ce.ini
and the version of xinput1_3.dll. Then you need to copy and paste/replace with xinput1_3.dll V.3.4.0.732 that is in the x360ce_libraries_r732_x64_VS2010.zip,
just use that file, the others are not necesaries. After that you will delete the x360ce.exe and the run the x360ce_x64.exe but do not let that change the xinput1_3.dll V.3.4.0.732
for the new one that offer to upgrade, then when you are runing the x360ce_x64.exe you will see the controller 1 the green square and all the buttons function of your Rumbled Pad 2 Controll as xBox Controll by the Emulator,
even will function with other kind of supported device controls.
