Had to say it. Bought The Witcher Limited black box back in 2007, bought the Enhanced last year on Steam, and now I have just bought the GOG version :-D

I know, I sound silly, but I really love The Witcher and CDPR and GOG, so why not show some support for some of the few dedicated PC Game makers? :-)

Also bought Witcher 2 Collector's Edition (Disk version) as I had to have The Geralt statue and the other physical bonus stuff :-)
It is okay if you have the money. But me, i prefer not buying the same thing twice if possible.
I assure you you're not alone. Plenty of us have done the same, and for good reasons.

May I share?
I bought W1 when it first came out, then bought the Uncensored version because I'm old enough but not smart enough since I didn't know there were children needing saving from boobs, hence the U.SVersion harkening to our Puritanical roots. My video card was too wimpy so I saved and bought a "better" one but put on 7 and W1 wouldn't play so I bought a Downloadable WI but the enhanced version download never worked right so I bought The Steam version and as I started; decided to get the GOG version as I'm a big fan. now I'm playing W1 and am looking forward toW2 with the Troll dlc but when I downloaded it < it disappeared asking for numbers known only to Bernie Madoff. So I will again buy W2 when the dlc is included as I'm so tired from work that I just want a game that works. the money was not wasted as I support PC only games, they're more fun and plenty enjoyable. And GOG games are playable in shelters if necessary.

There are workarounds to the Troll DLC here: http://en.thewitcher.com/community/entry/26/
It'll be fixed in this week's patch.
Lucky you. I wish I could find a box set here in Japan that had the goodies you got.
I bought the original red box version, then purchased the enhanced edition because of all the goodies in the box. I also just bought W1 again, because seriously, I do NOT want to see this franchise die or become victim to the crap that killed Dragon Age.

Did the exact same thing. Red box, black box Enhanced Edition for the goodies, then picked it up here on GOG when it was 5 bucks because, well it was 5 bucks.

I really want it on steam as well, just so I can see my actual gameplay hours. I don't even mind buying it a 4th time.
I bought it a second time because I couldn't register my witcher version I bought in a ... eh how you say? A shop where you go to and not download games... a real life shop or something.... anyhow that witcher game I couldn't register cause servers are down thus I couldn't upgrade to enhanced edition with it.... thus I bought this version to have the enhanced edition :P also additional languages are cool xD... I rofled at the old lady speaking french... I can't speak french at all but it sounded so cuuute
