Old post, but to make everyone sure: for mine 4400 this solution works with no problems.

Is there any way to pass these cli arguments through the galaxy client? It runs the game launcher, which seems to ignore the arguments. I was thinking of writing a simple app that would just exec the witcher exe with the command line switch, but perhaps there's a simpler method?
