I just changed HDDs and I have one for games only and the other is for Windows. The problem is that when I dowload the witcher from gog it goes to the master hdd not the slave. On the gog dowloader you can change the dowload directory, i've tried that but it only saves the setup.exe there and installs the game on the other. How do I make it install on the HDD I want? I've also tried installing the gog downloader on the non-windows HDD

i've got the same setup.
1 hdd for windows
2nd for games
3rd for storage
4th for storage

all together +/- 6TB

just copy all setup files to your Game HDD and then install the game using the drive letter and path of your game HDD.

example attached.

i usually store setup files mods seperatly

see attached 2

hope this helps

It's irrelevant where the files are stored.
When running installer setup, in lower left corner there's 'options' button. Clicking it will allow you to change installation path.
