I've owned a cd version of this game (ordered from the UK for uncensored, that's how long ago) since release.
I haven't ever had a problem with getting the game patched, but now it seems when I want to apply the Enhanced Ed. patch, it says I need to register the game first. Well, good luck remembering that. I ask it to send me my login via email, nothing so far in 3 attempts over the last 2 hours.
I register it by creating a new account. "An email will be sent for activation" nothing yet in my inbox or spam folder.
I go to log in and it lets me log in to register it. Type the CD key and I get a tage error. I find the tage application and run it as admin, nothing happens.
So now I'm sitting here wondering why all of this was added to the install process. I remember load screens every 10 feet you walked, and they took 30 seconds; still preferable to this nonsense. Come on guys, let's not get EA on your customers. I registered years ago, don't make me register to patch the game.
Let me add it to GOG or Steam (steam doesn't accept the key).

No, I'm not going to pay $10 to buy it on GOG. I supported this company right out of the gate, and this is frustrating enough to warrant a post here.
TL;DR - cant login, register, or install patch. need to install tage drm only to remove it with 1.5 patch. basically - I MAD
