I have been reading that the Wild Hunt drops a Special essence. For Alchemy it must be, right? But how to get that? I cannot loot his remains?

Little hard to do, but doable. You have to lure him for combat at the furthest away possible ground, away from the downed grandmaster and be quick to left click over his remains. This substance is not used in any recipe and even if it did, you cannot get in potion preparation from that point onwards, anyway. Nice trophy, though... Not needed for anything, on the other hand.

A comment on http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Vapors_of_the_Hunt claims you can also get this during the hermit's quest; but it still has no known use.
