I remember seeing this option when I received the free offer from GWENT, since I already played the witcher before I want to share this game to a friend, but I can't figure out how.

If you already have the game in your library and choose the freebie from Gwent, a gift code should be in your account (Your user menu ----> orders & settings) just give him the code to redeem the game.

IIRC, from posts in General they may need to contact support to use the code that way. GOG implemented this differently than normal or something. I don't quite remember.
