Greetings Everyone,

quick question about this game. Does it have a GORE/LANGUAGE Filter or similar mechanism?

Cheers,
Romano.

There is not a gore filter or a language filter. If the English burns your ears too much (and you don't speak Polish), you can set the voiceovers to Polish.

Added bonus: the Polish voiceovers are much better than the English ones.

Much much better.

I think there is a censored version with the censored cards and no blood in the Geralt's combos.

How to re-censor the Enhanced Version:

** WARNING - I have not fully tested this - only in the Prologue. Use at own risk **

Go into the Data/Movies folder and backup (zip) then delete the .bik files with the word "sex" in them. Scenes will now "cut to black" tastefully rather than show a card movie.

Look in the Data folder for a localized.key file and localized00.bif files. Back up (zip) these files and then delete. Removes Cards in Journal and excessive blood effects. This may cause crashes during the game, but so far no problems.

I've played through the Prologue with no problems. If you have the corresponding files for the US version you can use these versions if you want a partially censored version.
