So for about the 100th time the client has forgotten the location of my game folder. Now it reckons the game folder is not supported and I can no longer play Witcher 3. can anyone help me out because I am very unreleased with this client and have doubts I will get proper help from the support center. Thanks.

I don't have TW3 (this is the Witcher 1 forum by the way, the Witcher 3 forum is here) but can't you play it without Galaxy? Find Witcher3.exe on your pc and launch it from there.
