Okay, bought a new gaming laptop and this is the first game I play, For the first tow days of playing it on High setting it worked fine, but now there is somewhat frequent, if not that consistent skipping of a frame or two. I thought maybe it was because I hadn't installed an antimalware program, but i did and scanned and fixed or deleted any threats. It's till a bit laggy, not very much, as in so much to detriment my experience, but it is a nuisance. My laptop is Asus Republic of Gamers G55 S-1245, running on Windows 7 64-bit, 12 GB RAM DDR3, intel core i7 (quadra core) 2,4 GhZ, 1 TB SATA harddisk and nVidia GeForce GTX 660M 2GB DDR5. I've played Awesomenauts, Amnesia and League of Legends on maximum settings and have no such problems. The computer is brand new, bought it last Tuesday.

I actually tried Amnesia again and found out that when I play it there appear lines when I move the camera like in some occasions in The WItcher.

Your problem probably derives from your graphics card, either from the driver or settings.

1. Install the newest nVidia driver
2. Try different settings (for a start, I'd let the application and not the driver decide about several modes like Anti-Aliasing etc.)

(3. Do not overclock your graphics card or system, it should be fast enough anyway!)

Thanks, I'll try or more properly, I'll make some friend do it since I know fuck all about computers. I think the driver in the disk was the latest, but maybe it wasn't. I don't even overclock it and I did try different settings but in the Witcher nothing helped. Though I will search for the driver.
